Then said the Lord unto Isaiah:
“Go forth now to meet Ahaz, [i]2298[/i] thou and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field; And say unto him:
“Take heed,
_and be quiet;
_fear not,
_neither be faint–hearted
_for the two tails
_of these smoking firebrands,
_for the fierce anger
_of Rezin with Syria,
_and of the son of Remaliah.“Because Syria, Ephraim,
_and the son of Remaliah,
_have taken evil counsel against thee, saying:“Let us go up against Judah
_and vex it,
_and let us make
_a breach therein for us,
_and set a king in the midst of it,
_yea, the son of Tabeal.’””
